Ghost Transport booking & cancellation terms

  • Payment & confirmation: A booking is confirmed only after the required online payment is completed successfully. Quotes are based on the information supplied by the customer.
  • Customer cancellations: Our standard cancellation deduction is 50% of the total booking price, with the remaining 50% refunded. We will not retain more than our reasonable direct loss caused by the cancellation, and a larger refund will be given where our actual loss is lower or applicable law requires it.
  • If Ghost Transport cancels: If we cannot provide the booked service and the customer is not at fault, the amount paid for that booking will be refunded.
  • Accurate job information: The customer must give accurate details about the vehicle, access, whether it drives, wheels, steering, handbrake, keys and accident damage. Materially incorrect or missing information may change the price, cause delay or make the job unsafe to carry out.
  • Difficult recovery: Where the declared vehicle/access condition makes loading or recovery harder, the configured difficult-recovery surcharge applies once to the booking.
  • Accident damage: Accident-damaged vehicles attract the configured accident-damage surcharge. Undeclared accident damage discovered at collection may require the price to be adjusted before transport proceeds.
  • Night collections: Collection slots from 00:00 to 04:30 attract the configured night surcharge.
  • Large vans: Large vans require manual approval by Ghost Transport before booking and payment.
  • Collection times: Collection times are preferred booking times rather than guarantees. Traffic, weather, road closures, breakdowns or other events outside reasonable control can cause delays; we will make reasonable efforts to keep the customer informed.
  • Authority & access: The customer confirms they own the vehicle or are authorised to arrange its transport and that lawful access is available at the collection and delivery locations.
  • Vehicle condition photos: Uploaded photos may be kept with the booking and used to identify the vehicle, record condition and administer the transport service.
  • Personal belongings: Please remove valuables and loose personal possessions from the vehicle before collection.
  • Statutory rights: Nothing in these terms removes or limits rights that cannot lawfully be excluded under UK consumer law.

The cancellation deduction is intended to reflect reserved capacity and direct cancellation losses. Your statutory consumer rights are not affected.
